Job Description

We are looking for experienced supply chain personnel to ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly.

As Supply Chain Asst. Manager, you will be responsible for planning; implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Need to collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans, so teamwork skills are important. You should also have experience in project management, as well as great leadership and communication ability.

Supply Chain Asst. The manager will have to manage the coordination of procuring raw materials from various suppliers across India for FMCG manufacturing and ensure that the raw materials are on time with high quality to meet On-Time Delivery to Customers. Need to coordinate with the manufacturing team, plant operations, multi-region sourcing, and product development. Will be responsible to create a team for required sourcing, quality engineers, and logistics professionals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of supply chain processes and good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Role & Responsibility

• Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
• Warehouse setup management & total Inventory control
• Inventory Planning - Demand Management and Forecasting, Deployment planning across multi-locations to ensure market demands are met.
• Inventory Controls Experience (Stock management, Batch Management, FIFO, Minimize operational loss)
• Lead the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Direct and coordinate global supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
• Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
• Work with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
• Create and execute sourcing, supplier quality, and logistics coordinator plan to support procurement of components for manufacturing.
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues 
• Manages the sourcing of raw materials from multi regions through sourcing specialists.
• Manages the supplier quality evaluation process and leads the development of sampling plans and testing at suppliers to ensure zero defects and drives resolution of quality issues.
• Plan and coordinate the logistics function to ensure shipments of raw material and products are on time to meet manufacturing and customer shipment schedules
• Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly 
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records
